By firing at 779°C, the camphor oil burns off, leaving a gold film that adheres and produces a beautiful golden luster.

- Conventional color painting involves filling in the outlines with solid color, but Kakuzaburō Kiln applies a technique inspired by watercolor painting, creating soft, faintly fragrant hues.

- Underglaze Blue
- Typically, underglaze blue is painted with cobalt pigment and then glazed and fired.
