鹿児島県種子島産のさとうきびを細かく砕いて糖液を搾り出し、
その糖液の中の不純物を取り除いた後、煮詰めて結晶を作ります。
この結晶と結晶にならなかった溶液（糖蜜）の混合物を
遠心分離機にかけ、結晶を取り出したものが
極楽きび糖の原料になります。
この原料をさらに精製すると
白糖や三温糖などの精製糖になりますが、
完全に精製していませんので、
さとうきび本来のミネラルや風味を残しています。
この原料に甘さを引き立たせるため、
波動法製造(株)独自の真空処理で微量の極楽塩をブレンドし、
より一層マイルドで美味しいお砂糖に仕上げました。
黒糖ほど味にクセがなく、料理にコクが出ますので
野菜・魚・肉などの煮物に特にお薦め致します。
