【How to Use the Double-Sided Diamond Whetstone】
1) Use while pouring water onto the surface of the whetstone.
2) Sharpen in the same manner as with regular whetstones.
3) This whetstone is for coarse grinding and medium finishing.

【How to Sharpen a Knife】 *Please sharpen while pouring water.*
The recommended angle when applying the blade to the whetstone is approximately the same as fitting three 10-yen coins between the spine of the knife and the stone.

1) Gently move the knife back and forth to sharpen, until burrs appear along the entire edge from the tip to the heel.
2) After sharpening one side, flip the knife and repeat while maintaining the same angle to sharpen the other side.
3) Lay the knife as flat as possible and lightly press against the whetstone, then wipe along the arrow direction several times to remove burrs and finish.
*Using a commercial whetstone stand or similar makes this process easier.*

【Blade Types】
1) For double-edged blades, sharpen both sides the same number of times while maintaining the same angle (15°).
2) For single-edged blades, sharpen the front side 20 times and the back side 3 times, maintaining the same angle (15°).
