This is a 50th-anniversary commemorative release of "The Concert for Bangladesh," held on August 1, 1971, after The Beatles' disbandment. George Harrison performed alongside legendary guests such as Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Leon Russell, Billy Preston, and others to aid Bangladesh refugees.

The CD includes the latest remastered original soundtrack mixes, reproducing original sources with some different editing and stereo separation. Extra tracks feature newly edited rehearsal recordings, rough mixes, and Apple acetate sources, including the longest versions.

The DVDs contain the latest restored and edited footage for the 50th anniversary, including alternate angles, rehearsal footage, and the highest quality, most beautifully restored main footage to date. Additional content includes the original film version, bonus footage, and a rare "Hear Me Lord" performance (audience recording) from the Afternoon Show, presented as a slideshow.

Also included are the 1971 TV show "Dick Cavett Show" segments, featuring Gary Wright and Wonderwheel with George Harrison performing "Two Faced Man," as well as rare documentary footage of Ravi Shankar, Indian music discussions, and performances from that era.

This special 2CD + 2DVD set by SGT Records commemorates the historic concert, released after the album "All Things Must Pass," with luxurious guest performances.
