This reconstructed album offers a deeper insight into the evolution of the work and its production process. Additionally, the CD includes 6 previously unreleased demo/outtake tracks, and the LP includes 2 previously unreleased demo tracks.
Recorded at Freerange Studios in Covent Garden, London, this album is a commemorative work as it was the first to be released under Gary Numan's solo name, moving away from the Tubeway Army moniker. It is also considered a representative work of UK New Wave.
