The story unfolds involving the independence of Side 4 and Side 8. In this work, most of the mobile suits and outer space are depicted using CG, resulting in a beautiful and realistic portrayal that is different from previous series. The war scene between the Congressional Army and the rebel forces in the climax is particularly powerful, exceeding expectations for a television production.
