The "Northwest Custom" has been completed for the MOSS SR series. Developed with the concept of "comfort in a 15m/s wind," which has remained unchanged from previous series, it boasts overwhelming castability and operability against the choppy waves caused by the strong northwesterly winds characteristic of winter pressure patterns. The tip, made of 30t carbon, and the butt, made of a composite of 30t and 40t carbon, enable casting that cuts through strong winds while also possessing the blank characteristics that allow for the most "tame" (resistance/flexibility) within the series. It offers no chance for a kicker-class fish to take the lead, and even with medium-sized fish, the "tame" is easy to apply. Compared to the TR series and LIMITED, the reduced repulsion and "バリバリ感" (a feeling of stiffness/vibration) result in the highest reduction rate of dropped fish within the series.
