A 3D action RPG based on the comic of the same name from "Monthly Shonen Gangan" (published by Square Enix). Embark on a journey as the protagonist Edward, with an original story set between episodes 9 and 10 of the original work.
The defining feature of this game is "alchemy," just like in the original work. Alchemy is broadly divided into three types: equipment-based, placement-based, and special-based, with over 50 types in total. It can be used not only for combat against enemies but also for navigating the map. For example, you can transmute a wall from the ground to trap troublesome enemies, or use it as a foothold to reach higher ground. This element greatly expands the gameplay possibilities of this action game.
Another significant point is that the scenario supervision and original character design were handled by the author, Hiromu Arakawa. In addition to characters from the original work such as Alex and Riza, original characters like Armony and Verhelme also appear, telling a story that links with the original work but was not revealed there. Furthermore, the animation movies inserted in the event scenes are handled by BONES, the same studio that produced the TV anime version, allowing you to enjoy high-quality visuals comparable to the TV anime.
