1690年創業のODIOTはフランスで最も古い金銀細工の工房であり、その作品は「王の銀器」とよばれ現在でも世界中の王室や富裕層のために銀器を製作しております。
今回ご紹介するルイ16世スタイルの優雅なスプーンは、梨地仕上げのハンドルが交差したリボン・松明・可憐な花によって美しく装飾されております。全体がゴールドによって贅沢に覆われ眩い程です。重量も１本が23～26gと通常の銀のスプーンよりもかなり重さがあり「王の銀器」の風格を感じさせます。ヴェルメイユの状態も良く特筆すべき欠点もありません。
ODIOTの銀器は注文生産が殆どであるため数が限られております。是非この機会にコレクションに加えて頂きたい名品です。
