This is a specially designed tie. The lining uses the same silk material as the outer fabric, creating a matching fabric that provides a moderate weight and volume, allowing for a unique and comfortable tying experience. Compared to a standard tie, approximately 20% more of the outer fabric is required to produce this tie.
The tie is handcrafted by artisans (hand-sewn), which differs from machine sewing. The sewing is done while monitoring the tension of the fabric, resulting in a plump and refined finish. The looped slack threads on the back side of the tie disperse the force when tying, preventing the stitches from breaking or the fabric from warping. This is a feature often found in high-end, hand-sewn ties.
Additionally, the brand name uses an exclusive tag, which, although usually inconspicuous, gives the tie a presence and sense of distinction.
