About the Author
Rintaro Uchida was born in Fukuoka Prefecture. He received the Picture Book Nippon Award for "Sakasa Lion" (Doshinsha) and the Shogakukan Children's Publishing Culture Award for "Usotsuki no Tsuki" (Bunkeido). His picture book works include "Tomodachi Ya" (Kaikai-sha), "Sacchan no Tebukuro" (Kin no Hoshi-sha), "Nee Nee," and "Ohige Ohige" (both Suzuki Shuppan), among many others.
Koji Yamamura was born in Aichi Prefecture. He graduated from Tokyo Zokei University. He creates short animated films using a variety of techniques. "Atama-yama" was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film and won 6 other Grand Prix awards. His picture books include "Kudamono Damono," "Oyaoya Oyasai" (both Fukuinkan Shoten), and "N" (Kodansha), among many others.
