Dave Mason, a guitarist born in 1946 and from the UK. He formed the band Traffic with Steve Winwood and others, and was active at the center of the rock scene, including sessions with Jimi Hendrix. He moved to the United States and made his solo debut in 1970 with "Alone Together." This work is his representative album, which, while possessing the expansive brightness of West Coast rock, also conveys a sense of maturity. In addition to the title track "Let It Flow" (track 6) being a hit, it is full of highlights such as the soulful "Spend Your Life With Me" (track 4) and the funky "Takin' the Time to Find" (track 5). Familiar members such as Gerald Johnson (bass) and Mike Finnegan (keyboards) provide solid backing. (1977 release)
