To attach the safety belt, first attach one ring of the safety belt to the hook of the leash. Wrap the safety belt around your dog's neck, just like a collar. Attach the hook of the leash to the clasp (D-ring) of your dog's collar and the two rings of the safety belt. This safety belt is designed to prevent the leash from coming off if your dog's collar breaks. When you hold the handle, the leash extends and retracts automatically according to your dog's movements, adjusting the length. This allows your dog to move freely. If you want to pull your dog closer, extend your arm forward and press the brake button. Release your finger from the brake button as you swing your arm forward, and press the side brake button when your arm is fully extended. Repeat this process until you are at an appropriate distance from your dog. Never grab or hold the leash part. You may get injured. To temporarily stop the leash from extending and retracting, press the brake button with your thumb. You can also lock the retractable function to keep the leash length constant, such as when you want to use it at a shorter length. To lock the retractable function, simply press the brake button with your thumb and push the lock lever forward. The lock is released by pulling the lock lever back.
