First Aid Kit is a duo consisting of sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg from Stockholm, Sweden. Their major debut album "Stay Gold," released in 2014, reached number 1 on the album charts in their home country of Sweden and number 23 on the US album charts, garnering significant attention. In 2014, they performed on the White Stage at the Fuji Rock Festival. Their 2018 album "Ruins," featuring guest appearances by Peter Buck (R.E.M.) and others, was a masterpiece that strengthened their musical roots in folk-rock and alternative country. The lead single from their 5th full-length album, "Palomino," is "Angel." Recorded in their hometown of Stockholm, "Angel" is a pop song filled with an 80s vibe, inspired by artists like Fleetwood Mac, Kate Bush, and Tom Petty, building great anticipation for the album.
