Porous quartz filter media ideal for bacteria habitats. This filter media is made of porous quartz balls with micro-pores on the surface, perfect for aquariums and ornamental fish tanks.
Filter media with a large surface area is ideal as a habitat for bacteria, and the established aerobic bacteria support the decomposition of ammonia and nitrite.
Furthermore, the hollow structure in the center of the sphere allows water flow, making it easy for water to reach the inside of the balls and supporting the filtration environment.
Suitable for freshwater and saltwater, it can be used in a wide range of breeding environments, including medaka, shrimp, goldfish, and tropical fish.
"Hard, durable, and low-dust quartz material." Made from highly durable quartz, it is resistant to crumbling and powdering, and can be washed and reused.
This reduces the need for frequent filter media replacement, lowering the cost and effort of aquarium maintenance.
It has moderate water permeability, allowing it to be placed directly after a coarse filter pad.
"Easy setup for beginners." These small, ball-shaped media, approximately 10-12mm in diameter, come pre-portioned in a zippered mesh bag, allowing for direct placement in various filters (external, top, hang-on, internal, undergravel filters).
Simply place the bag in the filter, making setup easy even for aquarium beginners.
Easily start improving your aquarium's water quality.
"Neutral design safe for fish and plants." Being a neutral material that does not easily affect pH, it minimizes the risk of water quality shock and is gentle on fish and aquatic plants.
During maintenance, lightly rinse with aquarium water or dechlorinated water.
Deterioration or chipping serves as an indicator for replacement, making it easy to manage.
