タイベックⓇは薄くて丈夫な高密度ポリエチレン不織布でアルミ蒸着フィルムと同等以上の遮熱性があり、 素材表面に熱を持たないのでアルミ蒸着タイプのカバーように気泡緩衝材を貼り合わせる必要がないので、「紙のような薄さ」のタイベックⓇ単体だけエアコン室外機を太陽熱から守ることができます。
タイベックⓇは素材自体がホワイトなので、室外機に設置しても景観を損ないません。
また、帯電防止処理を施した品番を使用していますので静電気によるホコリ等の汚れも付着しにくくなっています。
また、アルミ蒸着フィルムに比べ耐候性が室外機のサイズに合わせてハサミでカットできるので幅広いサイズに対応できます。
剥がした後の糊残りが少ない付属の専用両面テープを使用して簡単に取り付けできます。
