In other words, even when retrieved quickly, it does not spin and produces minimal wake behind it.
Of course, it may wobble, but compared to traditional flat-shaped jigs, this wobbling is extremely minimal.
This is the decisive difference from other jigs.

Furthermore, its silhouette is uniform and smaller compared to jigs of the same weight.
It has a volume close to that of tungsten.
Generally, tungsten jigs are considered to mainly appeal through their high specific gravity and water-shedding ability, with size being a secondary factor.
However, the wake produced by tungsten itself is also small, which sets it apart from regular jigs.
Therefore, there is no reason why a round shape would be unsuitable.
It is necessary to consider what small fish perceive as natural in a lure.

Some people approach it with a religious image, while others consider it scientifically.
The act of fishing is primarily focused on results, which is why many sellers promote products that resemble spiritual or superstitious methods based on unscientific theories.

Jigging involves the boat captain dropping metal pieces into spots identified by fish sonar, then jerking and reeling them up at appropriate timings, then dropping them again.
This simple action is perceived as having advantages or disadvantages, which is somewhat absurd.
This time, I want to introduce a product that challenges that notion.

In deep seas, do fish see jigs as fake or not see them at all?
The real truth is that fish tend to bite whenever there is some movement.
There may be subtle differences in how the jig is moved, but these differences likely vary depending on the item being pulled.
Fundamentally, the visual cues, wake, and waves generated by the jig, combined with speed and timing, probably trigger predatory responses from fish toward lead or other metals.
However, in deeper waters or areas with strong water currents, this tendency is more easily observed, while under visible light conditions, it becomes somewhat more difficult.

In simple fishing operations, the main actions a fisherman can perform are:
- Adjusting the strength of jerks
- Varying the speed of retrieval
- Changing the jig itself (every time)

Are wakes and waves related to fishing success?
If so, then the shape of the jig would influence its action even with the same jerk.
Certainly, the quality and size of the waves and wake produced would also change.
The most influential factor in this conclusion is the slow jerk fishing method.
While fish are generally attracted to lures manipulated actively, slow fishing relies on the lure's momentum to entice bites.
The lure is carefully observed, and sometimes the fish may even bump into it or react physically.
But what exactly determines the action of the lure?
It remains unclear.

So, what are our criteria for selecting jigs?
What is the basis for our judgment?
Why do some fish bite during slow retrieves, high-pitch jerks, or falls?
Why do small jigs sometimes get hits as if they were size-appropriate?
Many mysterious phenomena occur.

The effectiveness of different types of jigs remains uncertain due to the unpredictable nature of fishing results.
Among the various types introduced to the market, one is a long-type designed for high-pitch use.
This type has long been prone to darting and tends to fall diagonally.
It rotates finely and offers low resistance when pulled.

A short, thick, flat-type jig used at slow speeds feels gently swaying even with slow jerks, but depending on how it is moved, the long type can have a larger movement.
Ultimately, the depth influences this, as water viscosity and resistance do not significantly affect line tension.
What happens at greater depths?
Of course, it stops sliding.
Pulling it slowly is a very subtle action, but once significant line resistance occurs, there are no other factors to move the jig except pulling.
Because it moves too much, inertia does not build up, leading to rapid deceleration.

I observed slow jigging at 400 meters, lifting the jig overhead and dropping it, but it did not move as the angler desired.
However, the issue begins here:
Even if the results are successful, and even if the theory is incomplete, it still counts as fishing.
If so, wouldn't it be easier to create a jig suited to these conditions?
That was my thought.
Of course, this is not everything, as fish behavior itself can change.
But I believe the items I will introduce from now on can be utilized as part of jigging techniques.
