A new album featuring music from 'Fantasy Zone' that rivals the volume of the culmination of the SEGA AGES 2500 series, Vol.33 'Fantasy Zone Complete Collection' (hereafter: FZCC)! The main focus is, of course, the original 'Fantasy Zone'. It includes all tracks from the arcade version, the Japanese version, and the overseas version, as well as all tracks from the Mark III version, plus additional stage music from the 'SEGA AGES 2500 Series Vol.3' version and the X68000 version. Furthermore, it includes all tracks from the newly remade version 'Fantasy Zone Neo Classic', which is recorded as a hidden game in FZCC. Additionally, the Mark III version 'Fantasy Zone II Opa Opa’s Tears' (by Takahiko Kamiyama) and 'Galactic Protector' are both included in PSG and FM versions. 'Opa Opa' is recorded in three versions, including the system E version with different arrangements. The highlight of the FZCC software is the new System 16 version 'Fantasy Zone II Opa Opa’s Tears', a must-listen for fans, which merges the original versions of the first and second games. It is notable that all tracks are recorded from the arcade board with particular attention to detail.
Another feature exclusive to this album is a medley of all tracks from the original 'Fantasy Zone' performed by the Sega Sound Unit [H]. The session, led by the original composer Hiro, features familiar members and exceeds a total length of 10 minutes in a long version.
Furthermore, as bonus tracks, there are arrangements supporting 'Virtua Striker 4' and arrangements used in the arcade medal game 'Blackjack'!
