*For 8 servings:*- Curry ZEPPIN: 1 box (175g)- Ingredients: double the amount- Water: 900ml (if using a lid on the pot, 800ml)
**Preparation Method**1. **Sauté**: Heat salad oil in a thick-bottomed pot over medium heat and thoroughly sauté the cut ingredients into bite-sized pieces.2. **Add water and simmer**: Pour in 550ml of water, bring to a boil, then reduce to low-medium heat. Skim off any scum and simmer until the ingredients are tender (about 20 minutes).3. **Add roux**: Turn off the heat, add the roux, and dissolve it.- *Note:* Breaking the roux into pieces helps it dissolve faster.4. **Simmer until thickened**: Turn the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the desired thickness is achieved (about 5 minutes).- *Optional:* If adding store-bought honey, add it during step 2 and simmer for more than 20 minutes.- *Note:* Adding honey after cooking may weaken the thickening.
