From the treasured legacy that was shockingly released on disc by ALTUS, the 1979 Japan tour is compiled into a long recording on SACD as a limited edition. Using the same commentary as the CD versions (ALT-063, ALT-064), all titles are being released on first SACD. Unintentionally, the June 8 performance became Mravinsky's last concert in Japan, featuring passionate Glazunov.
