EVEシリーズの特徴でもあるキャラクターのかけ合いや魅力も引き続きしっかり描写し、古き良きADVテイストも残しながら、新作として制作。メインキャスト陣も前作からほぼ変更無く、そこに今人気の若手や実力派、更にはベテランも加え、懐かしくも新しい厚みのある世界観を形成しています。
マルチなサイト
EVEシリーズはマルチサイトという二人の主人公の視点を切り替えて進むシナリオで、これまでは同じ町の中で行動する二人の支店を切り替えて進行していました。本作は小次郎編では街を離れ、とある田舎の村に滞在して調査する展開があり、一つの事件を都会と田舎というマルチなサイト(風景)で追うというシナリオ展開も楽しめます。
操作性の向上
今作では操作性を見直し、スティックでの直感的な操作を中心に片手プレイも見越したボタン配置に整理。また演出面でもアニメーション演出やムービー演出を強化します。
