◇Product Description
Eternal Harmony = 永遠の調和 (Eternal Harmony).

Momoko Kikuchi has been playing 'harmony' with many staff and listeners from her debut to today.
With her wish to continue nurturing this 'harmony' forever, she produced this self-produced work.
It contains the universal theme of 'giving love,' filled with gratitude to all.

The first track of Kikuchi Momoko’s first EP is 'Hoshi no Shinkirou' (Mirage of Stars) (Track 1), arranged by Atsushi Horie (Theatre Teller).
This song expresses the universality of the human heart, where connection with someone lights up the heart.

Track 2, 'Mousugu 0-ji' (Almost Midnight), is a duet between Kikuchi and Takahito Urasawa (androp).
Using the word '0-ji' (midnight), which signifies the change of date, it announces the start of a new day or the arrival of a special day.
The lyrics are sprinkled with the history of Momoko Kikuchi’s journey as a singer, making it an anniversary song celebrating her 40th anniversary.

Finally, the last track, M3 'Starry Sky,' is written and composed by Momoko Kikuchi herself.
It shares the world of a starry sky that shines and is close to people at all times, with arrangement by her mentor Tetsuji Hayashi, making it a luxurious piece.

This work feels like it would not have been complete without any of the songs; it has become such a piece.
Please listen carefully, surrendering yourself to its poetry and sound.

〈Comment by Momoko Kikuchi〉
As a 40th anniversary celebration, I am pleased to release 'Eternal Harmony,' and I am very grateful to everyone who supports me, to the songwriters who provided works, and to the staff.
I learned about the spontaneity and strength of music from Takahito Urasawa (androp), which became passion reflected in the songs.
From Atsushi Horie (Theatre Teller), I learned the beauty of facing music and the delicacy of sensibility, which I incorporated carefully into the songs.
Both of them, I want everyone to listen to as soon as possible.
The song 'Starry Sky,' which I wrote and composed myself, is based on the philosophy of my closest musician, Tetsuji Hayashi, and I received advice to inherit his spirit in my own way.
As the title 'Eternal Harmony' suggests, I want to create the best 'eternal harmony' together with the production team and all listeners.

〈Comment by Takahito Urasawa (androp)〉
I am very honored to be involved in this milestone of Momoko Kikuchi’s 40th debut anniversary.
I was touched by her wonderful personality and learned a lot during production.
This is a song that only Momoko Kikuchi could create.
Beyond the music, I also enjoyed working with Mr. Horie.
I sincerely hope that the song 'Mousugu 0-ji' and 'Starry Sky' reach many people.

〈Comment by Atsushi Horie (Theatre Teller)〉
Through a connection with Takashi Urasawa of androp, I received an offer to create a song.
Growing up listening to Japanese pop in the 80s, I felt only excitement and motivation for this fun project.
At that time, I had the opportunity to see Momoko Kikuchi’s live performance, and her delicate singing voice and humble personality inspired me.
After collaborating with Maseya Abe from Zonji on home recording, I think I was able to express the fleeting beauty of a beautiful moment and the preciousness of thinking of someone through a retro melody.
I hope many people will hear Momoko Kikuchi’s voice and this song 'Hoshi no Shinkirou.'

◇Artist Profile
<PROFILE>
Momoko Kikuchi
Debuted in 1984 as the heroine of the film 'Pants no Ana,' and in the same year, debuted as a singer with 'Seishun no Ijiwaru.'
She gained popularity as an idol, successfully performing at Nippon Budokan at age 17, the youngest record at the time, and her release 'Sotsugyo-GRADUATION-' became her first Oricon weekly chart number 1, followed by seven consecutive works reaching number 1.
Since her idol debut, she has received numerous awards including the 26th Japan Record Award Newcomer Award, Japan Record Sales Award, and Elan d’Or Newcomer Award.
The worldview created by her composer Tetsuji Hayashi, who handled almost all her songs at the time, was unconventional for idol songs of the 80s, but has been reevaluated recently due to the overseas boom of Japanese city pop, with her album 'OCEAN SIDE' featuring the cover of 'Blind Curve' gaining attention.
In July 2021, all her songs from that era were distributed on music streaming services, and the following month, she was featured in the popular re-edit series 'Showa Groove' by producer/DJ Night Tempo.
Many of her songs continue to fascinate listeners worldwide, not just her popular singles.

Takahito Urasawa (androp)
Vocal & Guitar of the four-member band androp. Debuted in December 2009 with the first album 'anew.'
Within three years of her major debut, performed a solo concert at Yoyogi National Gymnasium with 10,000 attendees.
She has worked on theme songs for movies, dramas, and commercials, earning high recognition, with her music videos winning awards at Cannes Lions (France), One Show (USA), and Webby Awards (USA), among others.
In addition to band activities, she has produced music for Nobara Ninagawa’s solo exhibition, and for the movie 'Sayonara Made no 30 Minutes' starring Masaki Suda and Takuya Kimura.
She also composed the soundtrack for the movie 'Kimi wa Tsukiyo ni Hikari Kagayaku' and the film 'Analog' based on Takeshi Kitano’s first love novel, starring Kazuya Ninomiya and Haru.
She has provided and produced songs for various artists including Kou Shibasaki, Shihori Nanba, Maaya Sakamoto, Aimer, Miwa, Moe White, Da-iCE, Ai Murakami, Yuka, and Rira Ikuta.

Atsushi Horie (Theatre Teller)
Lead vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist of Theatre Teller.
Debuted in December 2009 with the album 'anew.'
He has released three albums as a solo project 'ent.'
He is active in various fields including film 'Soranin,' theater 'CUT' by the troupe OOPARTS led by Takayuki Suzui, and fashion collections.

They constantly seek innovation, creating stimulating music supported by many fans and artists.
They have performed at Makuhari Messe, Nippon Budokan, and other major festivals.
On January 26 (Fri), they released the digital single 'Invisble' and are currently touring nine locations nationwide with the Silver Lining Tour.
