【My Thoughts】
One of my hobbies is traveling. I belonged to a travel club in university and traveled across Japan. During these trips, I was often surprised to see towns that had declined or had very few people, especially in rural areas, and I was captivated by the beauty of traditional crafts encountered there. I believe that if these traditional crafts become more widespread, they can help restore and showcase Japan’s unique culture. That is why I am currently involved in activities to promote traditional crafts.

I also chose cloisonné enamel because of the difficulty and meaning of its production process. It originated in China before the B.C. era and was introduced to Japan during the Kofun period. The "seven treasures" in the name cloisonné refer to beautiful, treasure-like ceramics from Buddhist stories, symbolizing the seven precious items. The colors are transparent, and I feel proud to wear pieces that reflect this history. I want many people to know about and appreciate these historically significant works!
