スバルサンバー用電動ファンモーターの社外品になります。
メーカー問わずどんな車でも、ラジエター本体の前部には電動ファンが装備されています。
電動ファンはラジエターに走行風が当たりづらい渋滞時の低速走行、暑い夏場の気温によりエンジンの熱で冷却水の温度が上昇することを防ぎ適正温度を保つために作動します。
電動ファンのファンモーターが故障して作動しなくなると、冷却水の温度は高温になりオーバーヒートしてヘッドガスケット抜け等の故障の原因になります。
水温計がオーバーヒート気味でも冷却水の減少が無く、サーモスタットにも異常が見当たらない場合、電動ファンが回っていない可能性がありますのでファンモーターの点検が必要になります。
耐久性のある部品ですので簡単に壊れる可能性はありませんが、約5年くらいを目安に交換しておけばトラブルを起こさず安心です。
交換も高価な純正部品を使うのではなく、純正部品同等のリーズナブルな社外品を使用することによって更にコストを抑えることができます。
数千円の投資でファンモーターを新品に交換することにより、冷却トラブルが止まり快適なドライブを取り戻す事が出来ます。
