This is a thumb-operated trackball IST that achieves an ergonomic shape for comfortable operation and smooth movement. The support unit uses a 2mm diameter artificial ruby. This achieves smoother and more natural ball movement than previous models. The support unit can be easily removed, and can be replaced with artificial rubies or bearings. Replacement artificial ruby units (M-RS10) and bearing units (M-BS10) are sold separately.
It is equipped with 5 buttons, including "Forward" and "Back" buttons, which are convenient for operating web browsers and folders.
Button function assignments can be changed using "ELECOM Mouse Assistant," which can be downloaded for free.
