It adopts an ergonomic design that can be used with a natural hand shape without gripping. It is a shape that fits the hand regardless of hand size or grip style.
The support unit uses a high-performance bearing manufactured by MinebeaMitsumi. Reduced resistance due to friction enables smooth ball control as if floating in the air. Also, because the ball surface is not rubbed, dust does not easily gather on the support unit, allowing long-term maintenance-free use.
The support unit can be easily removed, and the bearing as well as the artificial ruby can be replaced. Replacement bearing unit (M-BS10) and artificial ruby unit (M-RS10) are sold separately.
It features five buttons, including "Back" and "Forward" buttons, useful for web browsing and folder operations. Button functions can be changed using the free downloadable "Elecom Mouse Assistant."
