This is an ergonomic thumb-operated trackball IST that achieves extremely smooth operation and allows operation in a comfortable posture. It adopts an ergonomic design that can be used with a natural hand shape without gripping. It is a shape that fits the hand regardless of hand size or grip style.
The support unit uses a high-performance bearing manufactured by MinebeaMitsumi. Reduced resistance due to friction enables smooth ball control as if floating in the air. Also, since the ball surface is not rubbed, dust does not easily gather on the support unit, allowing long-term maintenance-free use.
The support unit can be easily removed, and the bearing can be replaced with artificial ruby as well. Replacement bearing units (M-BS10) and artificial ruby units (M-RS10) are sold separately.
Equipped with five buttons, including convenient 'Forward' and 'Back' buttons for web browsing and folder operations. Button functions can be changed using the free downloadable 'Elecom Mouse Assistant'.
