It can extend the cable length of a built-in AC charger, and can also be used with devices such as USB hubs, docking stations, and keyboards that have short cable sections, enabling connection from a location away from the computer.
It can be used with a shorter cable during normal use and connect the extension cable only when needed, allowing appropriate use according to the scene. Bus-powered external devices such as portable disk drives may not operate properly due to insufficient power. The maximum combined length of connectable cables, including this product, is 2m, with up to 2 cables total. Connection of USB Type-C cables longer than 1.5m or two or more USB Type-C cables is not guaranteed to work. It supports a maximum transfer speed of 5Gbps, but extension is not permitted under the USB standard for 5Gbps.
It supports USB Power Delivery, capable of charging up to 20V/3A (60W). It can charge laptops with USB Type-C ports, smartphones such as iPhone and Android, tablets, and more. To use USB Power Delivery, the connected device and extension cable must also support USB Power Delivery.
