Power on with a dedicated AC adapter.

If you prepare and set dry batteries as an auxiliary power source, the current time and feeding settings will be retained, and no reconfiguration is needed.

If batteries are not set, the current time will be reset.

Semi-moist or canned wet food cannot be used.
