A kit featuring a penguin and an ice dome (penguin house) that move using electrical energy generated by a solar cell and stored in a mini rechargeable battery. Set the penguin in the dome. While the solar cell on the dome is exposed to light, it charges. Once charging is complete and you press the wall of the house, the penguin will flap its wings and walk along. Charging can be done under direct sunlight on a clear day or under an incandescent lamp of 60W or more. Charging is not possible under indoor lighting (fluorescent lights, etc.). Charging time is approximately 3 minutes. It runs for approximately 90 seconds on a single charge. Tools required: Nippers.
