This is a cover to protect the Egi's hooks.
You can temporarily attach it when moving, or collectively cover spare Egi and hold them together with a carabiner or similar.
When moving in a run-and-gun style, even if you put your rod in the car with Egi attached, the hooks won't pierce the seats, and they won't pierce your body or clothes while walking, making it safe and convenient.
It also reduces the time for Egi changes and color rotation, increasing the time for eging, squid, and octopus fishing, thus increasing your chances of catching fish.
Easy to attach with a clip.
It has a hole for attaching a carabiner, so you can hang it as a holder and carry it.
With drainage holes, it can be washed entirely while holding the Egi, making maintenance easy.
After fishing, we recommend washing off salt and sand with fresh water while holding the Egi.
