Echizen Washi is Japanese paper made in Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture, and is one of Japan's three great Japanese papers. It has a 1500-year history, and Echizen Hosho paper and Echizen Torinoko paper are designated as Important Intangible Cultural Properties of Japan.
