This product uses a sweet black honey-based agent to attract ants, and a trail pheromone to guide other ants to the agent's location.
The granular formulation (Hydramethylnon) is easy for omnivorous ants to carry, and the jelly formulation (Dinotefuran) is easy for nectar-feeding ants to ingest, allowing them to quickly carry it back to their nests.
Recommended for Red Imported Fire Ants, Argentine Ants, and Fire Ants.(Depending on the ant species, they may not carry the jelly formulation.)
The container is equipped with an attractant guide to help ants reach the agent more easily.
The agent brought back to the nest is shared with other ants, so it is effective against all ants in the nest (worker ants, queen ants, and larvae).
