DYLANMONDEGREEN/S.T.(180g)(LP)
The masterpiece 3rd album, produced by Ian Catt, is now available on analog! This is the 3rd album from Norwegian genius SSW, Dylan Mondegreen, his first in three years!
For this album, Ian Catt, known for his production work with Saint Etienne, The Field Mice, and Trembling Blue Stars, was brought on as producer. In addition to his existing sound, the album incorporates Ian Catt's signature feathery soft and delicate sound production, delivering a more sophisticated Nordic pop than his previous work. Tracks include "Come Tomorrow," a duet with fellow Norwegian female singer Maria Due, whose beautiful chorus is deeply moving; "It Takes Two," the album's highlight track, which builds with a poignant steel pan intro; "Keeper Of Secrets," with its dreamy sound production and sweetly resonating arpeggios, characteristic of Ian Catt; and "You Make It Easy," a neo-acoustic track that evokes memories of Trembling Blue Stars and Northern Picture Library. This is Dylan Mondegreen's most emotionally resonant album yet, as evidenced by its self-titled release.
