For the best flavor, rehydrate in cold water at 5°C. Please rehydrate in the refrigerator.

[For Faster Rehydration]

Simply break the dried shiitake mushrooms into pieces and rehydrate in 5°C water in the refrigerator for 1 hour. (If the shape is a concern, slice the shiitake mushrooms rehydrated in the refrigerator for 1 hour and rehydrate again in water for about 30 minutes.)

*Caution: If rehydrated outside the refrigerator for a long time during the summer, foam may appear and the mushrooms may spoil.

High temperature and humidity are causes of deterioration in dried shiitake mushrooms.
The ideal storage environment to reduce deterioration is a low temperature of 5°C and humidity of around 40%.
For short-term storage, room temperature is acceptable, but for long-term storage or during summer, it is best to store in a highly airtight bag or container in the refrigerator.
Also, after opening, transfer to a highly airtight container and store with a desiccant.
Proper storage allows for long-term preservation.
