The stage play "DREAM BOYS" DVD & Blu-ray, starring Shota Watanabe (Snow Man) and Shintaro Morimoto (SixTONES), will be released on Wednesday, April 17th!!
"DREAM BOYS" is a superb entertainment piece centered on the youth of boys pursuing their dreams, which has been performed for 19 years since its premiere in 2004.
In this production, staged in September 2023, Shota Watanabe (Snow Man) played the protagonist, and Shintaro Morimoto (SixTONES) played the rival, Champ. The cast also included 7 MEN Samurai, Shonen Ninja, Jun Shibuki, and Ran Ohori.
The first press limited edition, which comes with a sleeve and a booklet (20 pages), includes over 2 hours of the main stage footage, as well as bonus footage: a "Select Scene Visual Commentary" (approx. 74 minutes) by Shota Watanabe and Shintaro Morimoto. This is a must-see, featuring numerous stage episodes told by the two, who have perfect chemistry, with sincerity and occasional humor, while watching carefully selected scenes.
Furthermore, the bonus footage for the regular edition includes "Making-of Footage" (approx. 36 minutes) that closely follows the behind-the-scenes of the stage, from rehearsals to the final performance.
