The long-awaited DVD release of the stage play "DREAM BOYS," starring Yuta Tamamori of Kis-My-Ft2, has been decided!
This DVD will feature the 2016 performance, where Tamamori served as the lead for the fourth consecutive year. Since the performance, fans have continuously requested a DVD release due to its high quality, and it will finally be released this autumn.
"DREAM BOYS" has been passed down through Johnny's members since its premiere as "DREAM BOYS" in 2004, starring Hideaki Takizawa. This production features Yuta Tamamori of Kis-My-Ft2, who starred for four consecutive years, along with Kento Senga and Toshiya Miyata, and former Takarazuka Revue stars Ran Ootori and Jun Shibuki. Furthermore, five members from Mr. KING (Kaito Takahashi) and HiHi Jet (Ryo Hashimoto, Mizuki Inoue, Saya Igari, Yuto Takahashi) formed the limited-time unit "Johnnys'5" for this production. They perform as a music unit produced by Miyata within the play, and Love-tune also appears.
This is a superb entertainment piece, centered on the youth of boys pursuing their dreams, presented with the script, composition, and direction by Johnny Kitagawa.
