〈リフレイン〉をはじめとして、これまで多くの魅力的な作品を生み出してきた覚和歌子×信長貴富による同声合唱曲集。コロナ禍による1年の延期の末、2022年8月31日(東京芸術劇場 コンサートホール)フレーベル少年合唱団 第60回記念定期演奏会(指揮:野本立人/ピアノ:神原あゆみ)にて委嘱初演された。委嘱団体の「少年合唱団」という珍しい環境から、“男子たち”がカッコよく歌える作品を目指して、詩と曲が書き下ろされた。曲集のタイトルでもある「ドラゴン(龍)」がエネルギーのシンボルとして湧きあがり、子どもたちの無邪気で愉快な世界が愛くるしい旋律によって雄弁に語られる。未来を切り開く子どもたちを照らす5つの物語。いまの子どもたちにはもちろん、その昔“子ども”だった人たちにも歌ってほしい作品である。
