その後、実体験をもとに数多の民間療法を探究、ついに「断食」「生野菜食」
「西式健康法」などを組み合わせた独自の医療哲学「甲田メソッド」の開発に至る。
大阪府八尾市の甲田医院において現在も難病とされる患者に接し、圧倒的成果をあげている。
