This is a scenic model built for N-gauge vehicle display. The track is double track. It runs in a straight line in the longitudinal direction. It incorporates railway facilities such as two sets of truss bridges with staggered positions to match the flow of the river, a tunnel with double-track portals, embankments, retaining walls at cut-throughs and level crossings. Elements such as rivers, paddy fields and fields where fishermen stand are also combined and can be viewed from various directions.
The tracks are laid according to the KATO straight line module board standard (however, the height of the track base is raised 60 mm above the board surface). The ends of the tracks are left blank to conform to the standard, but for display purposes an extension track has been added up to the edge of the platform frame (the extension track can be removed as it is connected with a joiner).
This diorama was introduced in 'Textbook of N gauge model railway layout' (by Norihisa Matsumoto / Oizumi Shoten / p60-). Some additional processing was done after the article was written.
