"Kamuiwakka Reisu" is a spring water that has been passed down as "Kamuiwakka" (God's Water) at the foot of Mount Yotei in Hokkaido. The snowmelt from the great snowfield of Mount Yotei becomes underground water, containing a superb balance of mineral components, making it one of the world's top-tier premium mineral waters (soft water).
The raw water, which is completely sterile at the point of spring, is filtered, then sterilized using UV light and heat. It is bottled using a special filling method. By adopting high-quality water and containers with caps that have excellent preservation qualities, the expiration date is 15 years from the manufacturing date. It can also be used as emergency stored water in case of disasters.
This water is also known for being served to G8 leaders at the 2008 Lake Toya Summit.
