Ernő (Ernst von) Dohnányi, a Hungarian composer. He is known as the father of the renowned conductor Christoph von Dohnányi, and also made a name for himself as a music teacher active in the same era as Bartók. Dohnányi's works, which have a late Romantic atmosphere, include not only introspective pieces like Brahms's short pieces, which greatly influenced him, but also works that seem to showcase the skills of Dohnányi himself, who was also an excellent pianist, weaving together an extremely diverse range of characters. The performer, Gulybadamova, has been researching Dohnányi's works for many years and strives to promote them.
