New York's popular band, a masterpiece 2nd album! Approximately 4 years since their previous work, "Oshin." DIIV's 2nd album led by Zachary Cole Smith! This work, "Is the Is Are," was shaped from songs developed during the tour following the release of their previous album, recorded in Brooklyn in March 2015 after renting a warehouse in Los Angeles for two months. Smith had produced 300 songs by then, and this album features 17 carefully selected tracks from them.
In addition to DIIV's signature brisk and light guitar work, refreshing vocals, and unique sparkling presence, this album has been refined into a masterpiece with the addition of more shoegaze-like noisy guitars and psychedelic floating sensations! Sky Ferreira also participates in the 5th track, "Blue Boredom"!
