"A story of the bonds between boys, girls, and monsters tested through dangerous adventures" The boys and girls who came to an extracurricular camp suddenly lose consciousness as they are enveloped in a suddenly appearing fog... When they wake up, they find themselves in a mysterious world inhabited by strange creatures and monsters. Thrown into a harsh situation full of danger and uncertainty, they nurture bonds with the monsters they meet in this other world while seeking ways to survive.
"The story changes based on the 'choices' made during actions, determining the 'evolution' of monsters" The story progresses through a text adventure, where conversations with characters and exploring various locations advance the game. During conversations or investigations, 'choices' appear, and the actions chosen through these choices cause the story to branch, and the evolution of partner Agumon changes accordingly.
"Use monster 'techniques' and 'evolutions' to fight in group tactics battles" Occasionally, tactical battles against hostile monsters occur in the story, where up to 10 units are deployed on the field. Monsters consume SP to use 'techniques' or to evolve into their unlocked evolution forms. By leveraging each monster's abilities and considering terrain and species matchups, players strategize and fight.
