菱ギリとは革の手縫い用の穴を菱型に開けるレザークラフト用ツールです。
初心者の方や菱目打ちで綺麗な縫い目にならないと言う方におすすめの工具です。
菱錐（ひしぎりと読みます）
菱ギリは貫通力に優れており、使用して頂くと劇的に縫い目が綺麗になることが実感できると思います。
刃の切れ味が重要になります。
菱目打ちの様に木槌などは使わずハンドプレスで穴あけするので周りを気にせず、夜などに時間帯でも静かに作業が出来ます。
また縫いたい幅（ピッチ）を自由に変えられる利点もあります。
根元まで同じ太さなので穴の大きさが一定で、表も裏も線のような綺麗な縫い目になるので糸の通りが良くなり平縫いとの相性がよいです。
サイズは3mm・4mm・5mmの三種類から選べます。
持ち手の直径30mm、素材は漆黒の色合いが特徴の黒檀（エボニー）を使用しており堅固で手になじみやすいです。
全体の長さは90mm。
研ぐなどの定期的なメンテナンスは必要です。
