●あらすじ/怪盗キッドから宿敵・鈴木次郎吉に、難攻不落の大金庫“鉄狸”を狙うとの予告状が2通届いた。1通目は文体やマークから偽物と思われたが、金庫部屋に置かれた2通目は本物だと確信した中森警部。部屋のそばにいて最近雇われたというボディーガード・使用人・メイドの3人に疑いがかかるが、次郎吉は自分が雇った者を証拠もなしに調べるなといって自室に戻ってしまう。いつもの様子とは違う次郎吉の行動に、コナンは違和感を感じるが…(第1話)。
