Developed by Taiwanese game company Rayark, the popular music game app 『DEEMO』 was released in November 2013 as a smartphone music game, and later released for PlayStation Vita in 2015 and Nintendo Switch in 2017. Unlike typical music games, it includes a story, and its original visual style has been highly praised. As of February 27, 2019, it continues to rank in the top 10 paid games on the App Store, recording long sales.
This work is a piano arrangement that allows you to enjoy the distinctive fantastical musical world of 『DEEMO』 in a beautiful and simple way. It includes 18 tracks, featuring representative songs and recent popular songs that were also included in previous soundtracks.
Among the songs that can be played by progressing through the story in the game, it includes popular tracks from the initial release such as 『YUBIKIRI-GENMAN』, 『Entrance』, and 『Magnolia』, as well as songs added in later updates like 『ANiMA』, 『Fluquor』, and 『Marigold』. It also includes songs that only play during in-game story movies and are not playable, such as 『Deemo Goodbye』 and 『Alice Good Night』.

What is 『DEEMO』――
『DEEMO』 is a work that combines “music game” and “modern fairy tale.” Deemo, who plays the piano alone and in solitude in a mysterious castle, one day encounters a girl who has fallen from the sky and has lost her memory. Deemo considers returning the girl to her original world, and notices that by playing the piano, the芽 (sprout) on top of which she stands grows rapidly. If this芽 grows into a tree, it might reach the ceiling window someday, allowing the girl to return to her world, but the ending remains to be seen…

Pianist & Arranger Profiles
Tomoko Asaka
Born May 27. Inspired by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Tetsuya Komuro, she wanted to compose and arrange music! She started serious composition studies at the age of 15 and entered Kyoto City University of Arts, Department of Composition. She completed graduate studies in composition and conducting. During her studies, she participated in a musical group on campus, decided to pursue a “LIVE” career, and began solo activities. After a year of solo work, she joined the girl band “mogahoop,” becoming a keyboardist. In August 2018, she released her original solo album 『SEASIDE RAINBOW』. She works not only as a performer but also in music production and arrangement for various artists, and provides music for visual works, expanding her activities as a composer and arranger.

Jacob Koller
Born in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, in 1980. After moving to Japan in 2009, he has been active as a jazz pianist. He has released 9 major albums from Nippon Columbia and 1 from Universal Music. In March 2015, he won the “Piano King Decision Battle” on TV Asahi’s 『Kanjani no Shiwake∞』 (won twice in total). Since 2017, he has declined many offers and continues to release his latest recordings independently, embodying the performance style he seeks. His YouTube videos demonstrating superlative techniques are extremely popular, with over 21 million views and more than 110,000 subscribers, making him a globally renowned piano YouTuber.
