Mitsuko Horie
Born in 1966, appeared on Fuji TV's 'Chibikko no Dojyo Man' (Little Kids' Talent Show). In 1969, debuted as an anime singer with the theme song for the TV anime 'Kurenai Sanshiro'.
Since then, her theme songs have been broadcast over 10 times a week, producing numerous hit songs. She has recorded over 1000 songs. In 1977, during the unprecedented anime boom, 'Candy Candy' surpassed 1 million copies and became a huge hit, winning many awards.
Later, she demonstrated her talents in various fields. She actively produces original albums and performs concerts as a singer. In 2014, celebrating her 45th debut anniversary, she expanded her activities overseas in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Brazil, and other countries.
As a voice actress, she has appeared in many works. In the 'World Masterpiece Theater' series, she played Polyanne in 'Pollyanna' and Judy Abbott in 'I Am Jane'.
She also presides over Mitsuko Horie Singers Lab, where she teaches singing techniques based on her experience to the next generation.
Professor at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, Voice Actor & Anime Song Course. Awarded for meritorious service at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2019.
Satoshi Takebe
Composer, arranger, and music producer. Since attending the National Music University, he has worked as a keyboardist and arranger for many artists. From 1983, he served as the music director for Yumi Matsutoya's concert tours. He has produced artists such as Yumi Aino, Miki Imai, Yuzu, Ken Hirai, JUJU, etc., and has been involved in music for TV dramas like 'Beach Boys' and 'Journey to the West', as well as music supervision for 'MUSIC FAIR' and 'FNS Music Festival', and worked on Studio Ghibli's 'From Up on Poppy Hill', among others.
