People fall into complete chaos. Isolated from the world's peace, the only path left for the player to survive is to fight the zombies and escape the island. The battle for survival begins on the entire open-world, scorching island.

* Battles unfold in first-person action with a focus on melee combat. To defend yourself and fight against zombies, players will utilize items found everywhere as weapons. The weapons discoverable in the game range from melee weapons like paddles, machetes, and crowbars, to firearms such as handguns and rifles, offering a rich variety in power and usage. Furthermore, these weapons and materials found in the game can be collected and combined to customize them into more powerful weapons.
* An overwhelming number of zombies await the player across the entire open-world, scorching island. A profound story inspired by classic zombie films unfolds in this blood-soaked paradise.
* Characters have RPG-like growth elements, and all actions contribute to the player character's growth.
* Seamless cooperative play for up to 4 players is possible with an online connection.
* The first-print limited edition includes two bonus contents:
* Additional Mode "Bloodbath Arena": An additional mode featuring four new arenas, similar to a coliseum. In this mode, players can enjoy challenging how long they can survive while dodging waves of zombies, playable in both single-player and co-op. Items and experience points obtained here can be carried over to the single-player game.
* Weapon Blueprint "The Ripper": A weapon obtainable only through this bonus. It is a fearsome weapon combining a bat and a power saw, capable of instantly shredding zombies upon attack. *This item is not planned for future release. It is included only in the first production run.*
