The secret to nimble operability is a slender, sharp blank and a focused center of gravity.

The evolved blank achieves weight reduction simultaneously. Additionally, the Daiwa's proprietary lightweight AGS (Air Guide System) concentrates the rod's center of gravity near the hand. Holding the Air Sensor reel seat that fits snugly in the palm, lightly swinging the rod with the wrist causes the tip to run linearly. Because the tip is lightweight and the swing feels light, fine operations can be performed at will. Water plug dog-walking and minnow jigging are effortless.

Slim and sharp high-performance blank

Using a resilient, slim HVF Nanoplus blank with X45 winding at appropriate points, it maintains lightness while reducing power loss. Compared to previous models, it results in a clearly different blank with a single cast. Also features an Awasemaru mark.

AGS

Lightweight, high sensitivity achieved by AGS (Air Guide System), which uses a carbon frame, offering about three times the rigidity of titanium. It transmits even the slightest signals directly to the blank without absorption. The carbon's lightweight nature improves swing speed and reduces tip wobble, greatly enhancing casting distance and control performance.

To prevent twisting during casting, action, hooking, and fighting, extensive research concluded that, in addition to the conventional structure (0° and 90° to the rod tip), wrapping bias cross (at 45°) with carbon fibers is appropriate. The inclusion of X45 prevents twisting, dramatically improving power, operability, and sensitivity.

AIR SENSOR SEAT
